Reconstitution notes
Refrigerate immediately
Reconstituted peptides keep best at 2-8°C. Most remain usable for 28-30 days when kept cold and away from light.
BAC water only
Always use bacteriostatic (BAC) water. The benzyl alcohol preserves the solution. Sterile water contains no preservative and shortens stability considerably.
How to mix
Aim the BAC water stream at the inner wall of the vial - not directly onto the powder. Gently swirl to dissolve. Shaking damages peptide bonds.
Sterile technique
Wipe the rubber septum with a 70% isopropyl alcohol swab before every draw and let it air-dry. This prevents contamination throughout the vial’s life.
